Corrie Shelley - Mines, Memories & Music Album Launch

Corrie has been writing and performing since 2016 and already has released 3 albums and an EP.  Her songs cover a variety of topics from 17th Century Pirate Ships, world wars and their affect on the men and the families left behind, to current social issues,  love, laughter, heartache and pain all thrown into the mix. 

Inspired by her Grandfather, a local miner, and a school friend who was one of the last apprentices in the mining industry, Corrie has spent the last couple of years interviewing miners and their families about their time in the industry and researching historical disasters to bring together a collection of songs that truely represent the lives of Lancashire miners.
