Rogan, Rogan & McGuire

Rogan, Rogan & McGuire are known for their warm, engaging performances – “a great evening from three great musicians”. The trio are based near Manchester and play self-penned as well as traditional material. 

Chris Rogan – for many years a solo artist, “a fine singer and songwriter and most able guitarist”, is now more often to be found performing as a duo with his daughter Louise or as a trio with Louise and Brian. Chris “has the sort of voice you could listen to for hours”, but he reaches new heights in this company. 

Louise Rogan – simply has a "crystalline purity and palpable enthusiasm" beautiful voice and is no slouch on the keyboard either. Classically trained, she has performed at venues in the UK, Europe and the USA. The blend of their voices and understanding seems effortless. She recently penned lyrics to John McCusker’s “Jessica’s Tune’ which he praised for its “beautiful words and lovely voice”. 

Brian McGuire – a north-east lad who cut his musical teeth playing with the greats from his neck-of-the-woods. These days Brian is “as masterful with Mandola, Mandolin or Guitar” and the astute will also notice he sings and writes a pretty good song too.
